The bestest boy
That there ever was
He made everyone smile,
He wished he was tough.
Always trolling for bread,
Or maybe a treat
He lit up our worlds
But his breath smelled like feet
I hope you are jumping
Off the dock at the lake
Or rolling in the grass
On a bright sunny day
To say you will be missed
Seems insufficient at best,
There’s now a hole in our hearts,
Truly you were better than the rest.
I could see it in your eyes
And we were all at peace,
