We said goodbye to sweet Maple this week. She was 15, with nasal cancer. Maple was special. So smart, so snuggly, and so confident. We loved her. She loved lying in the sun, sleeping under the covers, kisses on her head, and chicken. Run free, Scooch! No more snorting and sneezing, or smoke alarms (her only fear). I’m glad she was able to pass peacefully in our yard with the sun shining on her face.
