Yesterday (2/10), we lost Baby Abbie, as she was always affectionately called. In her twelve years with us, she was, first, a bonded pair with her sister, Grey. Eight years ago, she became the big sister to my son, Joseph. She loved that little boy from the second she met him. Abbie was loving and kind, and through my son’s toddler years, was always patient and willing to play with him. Her favorite things were jumping on someone’s lap as soon as they sat down, begging for cheese and treats, and sunbathing. Abbie is already very missed by all of us, and we are so lucky to have had her in our lives. I’d like to thank Dr. Eddie and Caring Pathways for helping us during this very difficult time.
