On the worst day of my life, you showed me the greatest kindness of my life. I was scared, flustered, and devastated. I couldn’t even comprehend existing without the greatest friend I have ever known. You were so calm; I remember my angst easing as you told me everything about his last moments here. You and Caring Pathways put love back into the community. I am working through profound grief, but it comforts me to know that there are people and places out there that are beacons of light; guiding us around rough shores.
