We had to make the heartbreaking decision to help our 16-year-old miniature pinscher, Jack, cross the Rainbow Bridge. When we called Caring Pathways, the staff was reassuring, and compassionate, and answered all of our questions fully and with care. They worked with us on scheduling as quickly as possible, and listened to our concerns and needs, and when Dr. Maria arrived at our home, it couldn’t have been a more peaceful process. She listened to our story, took time, and asked questions. We didn’t feel rushed or pressured at any time and she provided support, space, reassurance, and gave us all the time we needed. Dr. Maria explained the process so clearly, step by step, and when we were ready, she began. Jack seemed very comfortable being at home, in his bed, covered with his favorite blankets, and didn’t seem scared or anxious. Having this level of end-of-life pet care was a Godsend. It was heartbreaking, peaceful, and beautiful all at the same time. We will be forever grateful to Caring Pathways and the compassionate services they provide. Thank you.
