Snickers came into my life 16 years ago when I wasn’t even looking for a companion. I truly believe God brought her into my life when I needed a fur baby the most. She was so loving, always stayed by my side, was a great lap dog, and even on my worst days at work, she would sit by my side and listen to my complaints. She loved running in circles when she got excited, going for walks, getting a new fluffy bed, and most of all, new toys. She always knew when it was feeding time and would run back and forth until her food was placed in her crate. She hated bath time, but felt so great when done and would rub her body all over the carpet to dry herself.
Her favorite pastime was watching for any movement under the bed sheet or comforter and pouncing at the sight of it. She loved sitting at the front screen door watching the world go by, was always excited when we had company, and loved her tummy rubs. My heart still aches so much since her passing. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of her and wish she were still here. I know that she is running around in doggy heaven and is finally able to see all her fur friends and hear everything.
May our beautiful fur baby rest in heaven and know that she will forever be missed. We love you and miss you so much, Snickers, Snickerdoodles, Skittles. You were the best companion, and we will forever be grateful for your constant love.
