Dr. Kristin is originally from Columbus, NC, a small town in the foothills of Asheville. She has also lived in other areas of NC including Boone while completing her Bachelor’s degree at Appalachian State University and Raleigh where she attended NC State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Kristin is a 2024 veterinary school graduate and found a passion for geriatric medicine while in school.
Working with senior pets as a general practice veterinarian allowed Dr. Kristin to develop a special interest in supporting pets and their families through the end of life process. She believes it is a privilege to work with people and their beloved companions during such a delicate time and brings gentleness and understanding to every interaction. Dr. Kristin strives to ensure every pet’s final moments are met with peace, dignity, and love.
Outside of work, Dr. Kristin enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs. Her favorite activities include baking, crafting, and spending time at the beach.
