Dr. Megan grew up in Wisconsin where she earned her DVM at University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2007. She spent many years in the Chicago area practicing sport horse medicine. Megan moved to Colorado in 2015 and found her calling with Caring Pathways. She is in love with the sacred bond we form with our furry soulmates and cherishes their lives from the exciting hello to the bitter-sweet goodbye.
Her house is full with two dogs, A Rat Terrier – Colby and a goofy Red Bone Coonhound – Waylon. Megan also has an annoying African Grey Parrot, a beautiful Andalusian horse, a rescued horse – Buddy, a kitty – Pepperoni, along with 15 plucky chickens. She shares her life with her forgiving husband, Tom, and their two sons.
When Dr. Megan isn’t helping you send off your friend on their next big adventure with love and compassion, she enjoys riding dressage, hiking, reading, and spending time with her two sons.
