Dr. Caroline was born and raised abroad as an expatriate in Dubai, UAE and moved to the United States to finish her education. She attended Oklahoma State University for her undergraduate studies and received a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She then went on to earn her DVM at Texas A&M University, graduating in 2012. Following graduation, she moved to the Chicago suburbs and worked in clinical practice there for seven years before moving to Colorado to be closer to family. She continued working in clinical practice here in the Denver area for three more years before deciding to join the Caring Pathways team.
Dr. Caroline believes that for all the love and joy that pets bring to our life, we can honor them by providing a dignified and pain-free passing as a final gift. She aspires to bring a little peace and comfort to every family that she helps.
Dr. Caroline lives in Arvada with her husband, Jean-Benoit, and their Norwegian Forest Cat, Floki. She enjoys traveling, especially to Norway, where her mother’s family lives, and to France to visit her in-laws. She also enjoys gravel cycling, cross country skiing, reading, tending to her houseplants, and all things koselig (the Norwegian equivalent of hygge).
