Dr. Angel was born in Southern California and obtained her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from University of California – Davis. She was first introduced to end-of-life care when she was a veterinary receptionist and received multiple requests from clients for her to be present at their companion’s passing. In 2013, she moved to Colorado then received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from CSU Vet School in 2018. During veterinary school her experience as an active volunteer with the CSU Pet Hospice Program drew her to Caring Pathways.
As a member of Caring Pathways, Dr. Angel loves the opportunity to hear stories that reveal the incredible bond shared between people and pets. This role allows her to help clients provide quality end-of-life care to their companions.
Dr. Angel’s family continues to live in California, as she resides in Colorado with her partner, Zachary, their dog Aria and multiple cats – Cozette and Toni (short for rigatoni pasta)
